Leslie Urquhart (she/her) is a Vancouver-based artist residing on the unceded ancestral territories of the xwməθkwəyəm ̓ (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səlílw̓ ətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Emily Carr University of Art + Design (2005), her practice explores experiences as both a mother and an artist, often inviting her children into her creative process. Through painting, printmaking, and sculpture, Urquhart captures the beautiful chaos of life and the interconnectedness of memories. Her artwork has been shown in various galleries throughout the lower mainland, and she currently works as an Occupational Health + Safety Officer at Emily Carr University.
